Criminal offenders are amongst the most challenging groups of residents to engage in the recovery process. In the past, this has excluded them from many treatment opportunities. North Cottage Program understands this dilemma and has a unique partnership with various criminal justice programs, including parole and pre-release. North Cottage parolees are required to enter the Intensive Treatment Program (ITP). Our treatment professionals help residents gain clarity about the consequences of their behavior and learn how to avoid a return to both substance use and criminal conduct.
